Dr. Sreekala Sivasankaran

Dr. Sreekala Sivasankaran is a poet, author, scholar and translator based in Kottayam, Kerala. Formerly, as an Associate Professor at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, New Delhi, she was involved in conceptualization, research and  coordination of various national and international projects in the area of arts, literature and culture, under the Ministry of Culture,  Govt. of India. Prior to that she was a fellow at the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, Teenmurti, New Delhi. She has taught in various institutions of repute, including Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur. Her poems, articles and translations have been published in various journals. Her poems have been published in Indian Literature magazine, Muse India, Poetria, True Copy Think, Madras Courier, wtplive and other online forums. 

Her publications include poetry collections,  "Samayathinte Manaltharikal" (Malayalam), "You Walk with Me", "Dream of the Butterflies", and "Stranded" and stories, "Pink Mothers and the White Monk", "Two Stories" and "Amaltas Spring". She has also authored a pocket book of haikus in Hebrew-English titled,  " Alei Stav - Autumn Leaves "
