കേരളപ്പെൺകവികൾ എന്ന മലയാളത്തിലെ സ്ത്രീകവികളുടെ ഇടം രൂപമെടുത്തിട്ടുള്ളത് നമ്മുടെ സാമൂഹിക - സാംസ്ക്കാരിക മേഖലകളെ കൂടുതൽ ജനാധിപത്യവൽക്കരിക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ട് എന്ന ചിന്തയിൽ നിന്നുമാണ് . നടപ്പിലിരിക്കുന്ന ആണധികാരത്തിൻ്റെ സങ്കുചിത രീതികൾക്ക് ബദലായി ജൈവികമായ ചിന്തയും പുരോഗമനോന്മുഖമായ സർഗാത്മകതയും മുന്നോട്ടുവെച്ചു കൊണ്ട് കക്ഷിരാഷ്ട്രീയങ്ങൾക്കപ്പുറം മനുഷ്യരോടൊപ്പം നിൽക്കുന്ന കവിതയുടെ രാഷ്ട്രീയമാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ ഉയർത്തിപ്പിടിക്കുന്നത്. അത് മർദ്ദിതരോടും അരികുവൽക്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ട എഴുത്തനുഭവങ്ങളോടും ചേർന്നു നിൽക്കുന്നതാണ്.
കവിതയും ജീവിതവും അത്രമേൽ ഇഴചേർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന ചിന്തയിൽ നിന്നും കവിതയെക്കുറിച്ചും ജീവിതത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു തന്നെയുമുള്ള സംവാദങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമായി ഒരു കാവ്യ ചർച്ചാവേദിയ്ക്ക് ഇന്ന് തുടക്കമിടുകയാണ് ഈ മുഖപുസ്തകത്താളിലൂടെ. മലയാള ഭാഷയേയും സാഹിത്യത്തേയും ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിൽ എഴുത്തുകാരികളുടെ പങ്കിനെ കൂടുതൽ കൃത്യതയോടെ രേഖപ്പെടുത്താനുള്ള ശ്രമങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗവുമാണ് ഇവിടത്തെ എഴുത്തുകൾ .
കേരളീയരായ എന്നാൽ മറ്റ് ഭാഷകളിലെഴുതുന്ന കവയിത്രികളും ജെൻഡർ ബൈനറികൾക്കപ്പുറം നിൽക്കുന്ന കവികളും ഈ ശ്രമത്തിനൊപ്പമുണ്ട്.
കേരള കവിതയുടെ വൈവിധ്യങ്ങളെ, ലോക കവിതയുടെ വിശാലതകളെ അറിയാം. കവിതാരംഗത്തെ നവീന പ്രവണതകളെക്കുറിച്ചു മാത്രമല്ല കാവ്യ ചരിത്രത്തിലെ വഴിത്തിരിവുകളെക്കുറിച്ചും ചർച്ച ചെയ്യാം. ജനാധിപത്യ മൂല്യങ്ങൾ പാലിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് സംവാദാത്മകതയുടെ, സർഗാത്മകതയുടെ തുറവുകളിലേക്ക് സഞ്ചരിക്കാം .
കവിതയുടെ കരുത്തറിയുന്ന, മലയാളഭാഷയെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാ സഹൃദയരേയും സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
Keralappenkavikal is a space curated by the women poets of Kerala in order to democratise our social and cultural spaces. We uphold the politics of a poetic art that hinges on organic thought and progressive creativity beyond party politics and the narrowing norms of patriarchy that are prevalent now. It stands close to the marginalised and the writings that were hitherto sidelined .Today we initiate this space as a poetry discussion platform for life in/as poetry in the realisation that poems are inseparably connected to life. We hope to register here the role of the women poets in strengthening malayalam language and literature. We will also feature women poets and poets beyond gender binaries from Kerala who writes in languages other than Malayalam.
Here we shall know the variety in poetry from kerala and the expansion of world poems. We shall discuss on the new trends in Malayalam poems and the twists and turns in poetic history. Let us travel to new pastures of discourse and creativity by upholding the values of democracy .
