Leela Solomon:
Born in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Achieved MPhil degree and PhD in Hindi from the Madras University, Chennai and the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, respectively. Had been working with the Economic and Political Weekly, Mumbai for more than 16 years. Published book reviews, articles editorials in EPW. After leaving EPW as assist editor,, now focusing more on travelling and writing poems, travelogues and articles in Malayalam magazines and online magazines. A regular translator of Poetria, the Facebook platform of Keralappenkavikal from English and Hindi to Malayalam. A travelogue is included in the Malayalam book about women travellers edited by KV Sumangala published by Kairali Books.A poem in Malayalam has been published in 100 women poems edited by Kavita Nair published by Papyrus.
