Dona Mayoora :
Dona Mayoora aka Donmay Donamayoora Bilingual/Visual/Experimental/Interdisciplinary/Performance Poet, Artist and creator of Calligraphy Stories (onomatopoeic graphic narratives without text). Occasionally she is a scriptwriter, lyricist, columnist, essayist & short story writer. She is a published Author in India and Sweden. Her Visual poems have been selected for over 30 International exhibits in Italy, Spain, USA, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland and Canada. Dona Mayoora is also a Sullivan Scholar in Poetry in the Expanded Field at MFA of the Americas.

Dona Mayoora's poems have been translated to 8 languages including German and English. Malayalam poem have been included in the academic syllabus of Pondicherry University. Poem quoted in Kerala Budget 2018 by Financial Minister T. M. Thomas Isaac. Poems has appeared in Indian Literature- published by India's National Academy of Letters, Malayalam literary survey and Sahityalokam - published by Academy for Malayalam literature, Guftugu published by Indian writers forum, Bhashaposhini, Pachakuthira, Deshabhimani, Samakalika Malayalam, Madhyamam, Chandrika, Sthreesabdham, Padabhedam, and in several other online and Small Press Journals. Stories appeared in Katha magazine, Red Cherry Anthology and other places..
Dona Mayoora's Visual Poems appeared in group exhibitions along with Augusto de Campos, John Cage, Yoko Ono and others at Hungarian Academy Rome and Museum of contemporary arts in Italy, which showcased research and experimental works of the most important practitioners, historical and current, from the 1960's to today. She has performed at the Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI) with Canadian Visual Poet, Poet and Novelist Gary Barwin.
Dona Mayoora's Visual poems have been published and featured in several international magazines. Recent work has been featured in the international anthology: JUDITH: Women Making Visual Poetry. She is also one of the Co-Editors of WAAVe Global Anthology of Women’s Asemic Writing and Visual Poetry published by Hysterical Books, USA.
